Re: CCIE Journey
My CCIE Journey started about two weeks ago when I went to sat for my CCNP composite paper and discovered that I had to pay 300 USD for the paper. So decided to read for my CCIE written exam instead.
It is exciting and am making time for my self to read and watch cbtnuggets video from Jeremy.(Jeremy rocks my world) Any ways I have a CBT Nuggets Combo, Actual tests and Pass4Sure documents and hope that this will suffice in my quest for my CCIE.
The other thing that came up was since V3 is going away and I didn't think I would have enough time to prepare for my lab was worried that I might not be able to do different version of the written and lab exam but with little research I discovered that it's possible from of course the cisco website FAQ. (https://cisco.hosted.jivesoftware.com/docs/DOC-4605)
3 - Q: Now that the CCIE R&S v4.0 has been announced, can I still take the CCIE R&S v3.0 exam? How long will it be valid?
A: The CCIE R&S v3.0 written exam will be available through October 17, 2009, at all Pearson VUE testing centers. Passing the v3.0 written exam qualifies a candidate to take any available version of the CCIE R&S lab exam. As with all CCIE written exams, a passing score on v3.0 written exam will remain valid for three years, as long as the candidate attempts the lab exam once within the first 18 months. If the lab is not attempted, the written exam becomes invalid and the candidate will have to retest using whatever written exam is available at that time.
Well some might think that this is duplication of info but it's worth it.
Well will check on you laterz guyz
