I am a CCNP starting out my journey to CCIE R&S. I have been teaching CCNA and parts of CCNP for about 6 years, as part of the Cisco Networking Academy Program with which I am an Instructor. Anyway, like I was saying I am at the first rung (if even that) on the climb towards CCIE. I guess I would like to start this blog by asking for some focus. I have already acquired some books and some CBT stuff. The books are: CCIE Professional Development Routing TCP/IP volume II (Jeff Doyle and Jennifer DeHaven Carroll), CCIE Routing & Switching Certification Guide (Wendell Odom) and some CBT. I am looking at giving myself about 14 - 18 months to complete both theory and practical. So if anyone out there would like to offer me advice I would be more than grateful. Remember I am only at the beginning!!
